California Native Plant Demonstration Garden - Mariposa Creek Parkway The Mariposa Master Gardeners have developed a California Native Plant Demonstration Garden along the Mariposa Creek Parkway. Having planned and planted the site with native plants and identification markers, they now maintain the area. The Master Gardeners are currently participating in a research project with the University of California, Davis, to evaluate the adaptability of various native plants to growing conditions in Mariposa County. Enjoy a stroll along the walkway. Master Gardeners will be available all weekend to answer questions. Park in the public lot on 5th Street west of Hwy 140 in downtown Mariposa or on Stroming Road.
